Bronx CLARO

Bronx CLARO meets on Thursdays from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Room 128A at the Bronx Civil Court, located at 851 Grand Concourse.  For questions or to complete an intake in advance of arriving at the clinic, please contact (929) 388-0885 on Mondays from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Bronx CLARO continues to provide some legal advice by telephone to a limited number of individuals with consumer debt or credit card issues. If you are experiencing a consumer debt or credit card issue in Bronx county, please contact us at (929) 388-0885. For consumer debt or credit card issues in other counties, please visit the county-specific webpages for more information

We recommend you come to CLARO as soon as you become aware that there is a case against you, if possible before filing your Answer with the court. If you have already filed your Answer don’t worry, just come to CLARO as soon as you can – the earlier the better. And if you only realize there’s a case against you once a default judgment has been entered and your wages or bank account are being garnished, it’s not too late – CLARO can still help.

You do not have to settle your case. Learn more about your rights before agreeing to any settlement. Make sure you understand what would happen if you couldn’t make your settlement payments.
